MARCO ENEIDI

Musician/composer/saxophonist Marco Eneidi has been living in Vienna, Austria since November 2004 where he is Artistic Director of the Neu New York/Vienna Institute of Improvised Music, a Free Music workshop/jam session held every Monday night meeting now over 400 consecutive Mondays.

While living in NYC and New England during the 1980's and 90's Marco worked, performed and recorded with many of the great jazz masters including William Parker, Denis Charles, Don Cherry, Bill Dixon, Jim Pepper and Cecil Taylor. Since moving to Europe recent performances have included the Nickelsdorf, Austria Konfrontationen Festival, London Jazz Festival, Jazzores Festival Azores Portugal, Sibiu Festival as well as numerous concert halls and clubs in Poland, Italy, Germany and Hungary with many of the leading musicians of today including Roscoe Mitchell, Han Bennink, Paul Lovens, Peter Broetzmann and Tristan Honsinger as well as leading his own groups.

Eneidi holds a Masters degree in composition and has been the Artistic Director of Botticelli Records since 1987.
